Miniature Reconstruction
Support for creation of the scale model and stop-motion animation was provided by an Interdepartmental Grant from the Tisch Graduate Student Organization at NYU.
To prepare for the feature, the Columbia Biology Department is sharing floor plans for Schermerhorn Hall, which date back to 1898. In accordance with these plans, our production team rebuilt the fly room in miniature. We are using the scale model to create a stop-motion depiction of Betsey Bridges in the lab with her father.
